   Where The Name Came From 
          Cecil A. Polk
A native of Indiana, he was a true Hoosier, and a model man. Cecil was an alumni of Purdue University, where he played basketball for the Boilermakers. He was also good friends with the legendary coach, John Wooden. Cecil also played Pro Basketball, captained a mine sweeper, was a collage algebra professor at Stony Brook (NY), an avid golfer, fisherman, and runner. Cecil A. Polk was a great father,husband,and grandfather. Here at Cecil’s we do everything in honor of him.
